Adobe Acrobat Reader Version 3.01

Adobe has created two flavors of Acrobat Reader 3.01, Acrobat Reader
and Acrobat Reader with Search. The difference is that Reader with Search
is larger because it contains two additional Acrobat plugs-ins (Acrobat
Search and AutoIndx) with corresponding support files and
documentation. These additions allow the user to search within a
collection of PDF files on a hard disk, CD, or local area network for which
an index file has been created using the Acrobat Catalog tool (a copy of
which is included in Acrobat 3.01 for Windows and Macintosh). They are
not needed for searching within PDF files stored on a Web server (this
requires a search engine running the Web server). This Reader does not
have an expiration date.
