AT-View Plus 2.3: Full Installation


This file specifies the system requirements for installing AT-View Plus followed by a note that users must read prior to installation.

A. System Requirements
======================

1. Windows
----------
To install AT-View Plus on Windows, one of the following 32-bit operating systems must be running:

 * Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 (SP6a or later)
 * Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP3 or later)
 * Microsoft Windows XP (SP1 or later)
 * Microsoft Windows 2003 

The following hardware requirements must be met to maximize the 
performance of AT-View Plus on Windows:

 * 64MB RAM (128MB+ recommended)
 * 140MB disk space during installation
 * 70MB disk space during operation
 * 166MHz Pentium-compatible processor (400MHz+ recommended)

Display: 1024x768 or above (64K colors or more)

Supported NMS:
 * HP OpenView Network Node Manager 6.20
 * Castle Rock SNMPc 5.1.6c, 6.0
 * Tivoli NetView 7.1.3


2. Solaris
----------
To install AT-View Plus on Solaris, the following operating system must be running:		

 * Sun OS 5.8/Solaris 8 (32-bit version)

The following hardware requirements must be met to maximize the 
performance of AT-View Plus on Solaris:

 * 128MB RAM (256MB recommended)
 * 180MB disk space during installation
 * 90MB disk space during operation
 * 15MB minimum swap partition
 * Ultra 10 or higher processor

Display: 1024x768 or above (64K colors or more)

Supported NMS:
 * HP OpenView Network Node Manager 6.20


3. HP-UX
--------
To install AT-View Plus on HP-UX, the following operating system must be running:

 * HP-UX 11 (32-bit version)

The following hardware requirements must be met to maximize the 
performance of AT-View Plus on HP-UX:

 * 128MB RAM (256MB recommended)
 * 360MB disk space during installation
 * 180MB disk space during operation
 * 15MB minimum swap partition
 * HP 9000 Workstations, HP Visualize Workstations

Display: 1024x768 or above (64K colors or more)

Supported NMS:
 * HP OpenView Network Node Manager 6.20


B. Pre-installation Note
========================

It is recommended that the user read the Installation Guide first before installing AT-View Plus.  The Installation Guide is in portable document format (PDF).
