Following are some results of testing the SupraTurbo 28 with the benchmark program AIBB5.0. The machine used for testing was an Amiga 2000 with 4MB of FAST RAM (on a SupraRam 2000 card). An Amiga 500 with some FAST RAM would get the same results. Note that, just like any other accelerator, the SupraTurbo 28 requires you to have some RAM in addition to CHIP RAM in order to see much acceleration at all. I left the comparison machine at the default which is an A500 with no FAST RAM. If you have AIBB and you can compare these results to the results you see with the other comparison machines if you would like. I only did the non-floating-point tests. The results for the Floating-point tests were similar unless you had AIBB use code which was WRITTEN for a co-processor. Programs which are written to take advantage of a math co-processor will of course run much faster on machines which have a math co-processor (which the SupraTurbo 28 does not). Even an Amiga 3000 at 25 MHz only gets a rating of 2.28 on that test. Supra R&D
