UPGRADE TIPS
------------------------------------------------------------------------
* Write down the Workgroup and Network ID.

* Be sure to have your Windows 9x CD readily available as you will be
  prompted for it during the installation.

* Reduce the number of large metal objects between and next to the 
  antennas during installation. Large metal objects may prevent the 
  network cards from seeing each other.


INSTALLATION NOTES
------------------------------------------------------------------------
It is important to uninstall any previous version of HomeFree before 
installing version 2.00.020. This can be done by doing the following:
 1. Go to the Control Panel and open "Add/Remove Programs".
 2. Select "HomeFree"
 3. Click on the "Add/Remove" button.
 4. Follow the uninstall process.

Installing HomeFree on the Internet Sharing PC
 1. Decide which PC will be your Internet Sharing PC. This is typically
    the PC with the fastest Internet connection. There can be only one
    Internet Sharing PC on your HomeFree network.
 2. Install the hardware and when prompted for the driver, point it to
    where you extracted these files.
 3. Follow the installation instructions. When prompted if this is your
    Internet Sharing PC, select No.
 4. Go to the WinNAT directory and run setup.exe. Follow the instructions
    on the screen to install the Internet Sharing software.
 5. Your computer is now configured for use on your HomeFree network.

Installing HomeFree on a Client PC
 1. Install the hardware and when prompted for the driver, point it to
    where you extracted these files.
 2. Follow the installation instructions. When prompted if this is your
    Internet Sharing PC, select No.
 3. Your computer is now configured for use on your HomeFree network.


CREATING A NIC-ONLY INSTALLATION FLOPPY:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you want to create a diskette that will allow you to install only
the drivers for your HomeFree Wireless NIC card, do the following:
 1. Format a 1.44MB floppy.
 2. Copy all the files from this archive except the WinNAT folder
    to the floppy.
 3. During the configuration process, select No when asked if you want
    this to be the Internet Sharing PC.

UNINSTALL INSTRUCTIONS
------------------------------------------------------------------------
If you wish to completely uninstall HomeFree v2.00.020 from your system, 
do the following:
 1. Open the Control Panel and open "Add/Remove Programs".
 2. Select "iVasion WinNAT 1.10.000"
 3. Click the "Add/Remove" button.
 4. Follow the uninstall process.
 5. After your machine reboots, open the Control Panel and open "System".
 6. Select the "Device Manager" tab.
 7. Open the "Network adapters" node and select the HomeFree card.
 8. Click the "Remove" button.
 9. Follow the uninstall process.

If you wish to uninstall the Internet Sharing software only, do the 
following:
 1. Open the Control Panel and open "Add/Remove Programs".
 2. Select "iVasion WinNAT 1.10.000"
 3. Click the "Add/Remove" button.
 4. Follow the uninstall process.
