Important Notes
- All of our software requires that you have the proper ASPI drivers
installed on your system. In particular, the Windows 95 and NT versions
of our software absolutely require that the file WNASPI32.DLL be
present on your system. If you do not have these drivers, then you
will have to obtain them from your SCSI card manufacturer. Please read
the section at the bottom of this page for pointers to some popular
ASPI drivers from Adaptec and Symbios.
- Please read Important Installation
Information before using any of our 32-bit Windows 95/NT or DOS
software.
- If you have an IDE/ATAPI CDROM recorder or reader, then please read
Important IDE Information
before using our software.
- The downloading of any software intended for "registered users only"
by anybody who has not purchased the software is strictly prohibited.
The use of pirated "unlock codes" is done solely at your own risk. We
offer a 30-day money back guarantee (no questions asked) on all of our
products, so we strongly recommend that you do not use any pirated
versions (since most of them do not work properly anyway).
Demonstration Version (Windows 95/NT only)
Versions 3.5A and higher are now shipped in demonstration mode...
The demonstration mode is fully functional except that all recording
operations are limited to 1X speed (previous versions only allowed TEST
recordings). You are entitled to use this version for a maximum of 30
days. After this period, you must either purchase the software or
remove it from your system.

NOTE: Starting with version 3.5A, we are no longer shipping separate
"demonstration" and "registered user" versions of the software. The
same files are used for both purposes.
WARNING: If you have installed a previous version of our demonstration
software, then you must uninstall it before installing V3.5A.

Notes for Digital ALPHA version...
The Digital ALPHA version is only guaranteed to function properly when
using an Adaptec SCSI card and/or ASPI drivers. We have not tested the
drivers from any other manufacturer, so we are unable to guarantee
compatibility with Symbios or other ASPI drivers at this time.
The installation program is a 32-bit INTEL binary, so you will need
FX!32 to install the software.
ASPI Drivers for Windows 95/NT
You must have valid ASPI drivers installed on your system to use CDRWIN
(most Windows 95 machines already have these drivers).
If you have an Adaptec SCSI card, then you can download the latest
drivers directly from Adaptec...
(these also add support for IDE CDROM devices under Windows 95)
Adaptec ASPI drivers for Windows 95
Adaptec ASPI drivers for Windows NT and NT/ALPHA
Digital Equipment Corporation also has ASPI drivers for Windows
NT/ALPHA (these drivers should work with all SCSI cards)...
