------------------------------------------------------------------------------- POWER.TXT Rev. 1.2 7/17/95(phm) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Supra currently carries these power supplies for the SupraFAXModem line: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Supra Part # Input voltage/Frequency Output Rating Plug Diagram(Name) ------------ ----------------------- ------------- ------------------ 26-9500-5 120VAC/60Hz (US/Canada) 650mA @9VAC | | (NEMA 5-15) 26-9100-1 240VAC/50Hz (England) 800mA @9VAC - - (Brt.Std.1363A) | 26-9100-2 220VAC/50Hz (VDE) 800mA @9VAC o o (CEE 7-VII) 26-9100-3 100VAC/50Hz (Japan*) 800mA @9VAC | | (NEMA 5-15) 26-9100-4 240VAC/50Hz (Australia) 800mA @9VAC / \ (ESTA #S/86) * Japanesse user's with 100VAC 60Hz power must use the 26-9500-5 transformer, as the 26-9100-3 transformer will burn up from the 17% increase in power. If trying to find a supply to use outside the US for your SupraFAXModem, or as a replacement for a failed power supply (see note below), Supra suggests looking for a supply with an output rated at 9 volts AC (alter- nating current) at 50 to 60 Hz and at least 1 amp. of current. (The current rating is greater than the listed power requirements in the manual because many transformers are not corrected rated to supply full voltage at full current load.) (Supra's warranty may be voided if damage is done by using the wrong type of power supply.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Supra currently carries this power supply for the SupraExpress modem line: ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Supra Part # Input voltage/Frequency Output Rating Plug Diagram(Name) ------------ ----------------------- ------------- ------------------ 26-6350-0 120VAC/60Hz (US/Canada) 350mA @6VDC | | (NEMA 5-15) If trying to find a supply to use outside the US for your SupraExpress modem, or as a replacement for a failed power supply (see note below), Supra suggests looking for a supply with an output rated at between 6 and 9 volts DC (direct current) and at least .5 amps. of current. The plug barrel size is 3.1mm. (The current rating is greater than the listed power requirements in the manual because many transformers are not truely rated to supply full voltage at full current load.) (Supra's warranty may be voided if damage is done by using the wrong type of power supply.) ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Your local distributor may have re-packaged the modem with a supply that matches to your local power source. In that case, the DEALER, not Supra, would be responsible for correctly rating the supply.) * NOTE: Original SUPRA power supplies that fail due to defect are included in the warranty coverage on the modem. Supplies that have been damaged due to user damage, or acts of god, are not included in this policy, but may be purchased from Supra for 19.95 (34.95 international) + Shipping & Handling.
