ROM Upgrade Policy

Supra has an ongoing commitment to continue improving our ROM code and overall

modem performance. Since modem firmware updates are a continuing process,Supra 

is making ROM upgrades available to registered Supra modem owners by contacting

our customer service department at 1-800-727-8772 or sales@supra.com.  There may 

be a charge for the ROM upgrade.  Please understand that we may not have ROM 

upgrades available for all modems.  We may not have any ROM upgrades for some of

the older modems.  



Any order for ROMs will be filled with the most current ROM revision available

from our factory. The following is a list of current ROM revisions for

SupraFAXModems. To determine what version of ROMs you have, you can issue the

command 'ATI3' while running your telecommunications (terminal) software.


SupraExpress 2.88/33.6 Internal and External PnP/PnP Voice including SpeakerPhone

	For all serial numbers the current ROM version is 1.440-25


SupraExpress 33.6 Internal and External PnP Voice SP with ASVD

	For all serial numbers the current ROM version is 2.000-20


SupraFax Modem and SupraSonic 288/336 External

	For all serial numbers the current ROM version is 1.440-25


SupraFAXModem V.32bis External 

        Serial numbers up to 14E165500 the current ROM version is 1.8

        Serial numbers above 14E165500 the current ROM version is 1.510-04



SupraFAXModem V.32bis Internal for the PC

        Serial numbers up to 51399 the current ROM version is 1.8

        Serial numbers above 51399 the current ROM version is 1.510-L04
	No ROM upgrade kit is available.



SupraFAXModem 144PB

        For all serial numbers the current ROM version is 1.298-A00.

        No ROM upgrade kit is available.



SupraFAXModem 144LC

        Serial numbers up to LCE038461 the current ROM version is 1.8

        Serial numbers above LCE038461 the current ROM version is 1.411-C09



SupraFAXModem V.32

        For all serial numbers the current ROM version is 1.8...

        No ROM upgrade kit is available.


SupraFAXModem Plus

        SupraFAXModem Plus models do not have a ROM upgrade kit available.*



Our ROM upgrades are user installable and come with detailed instructions on

how to open the modem and perform the upgrade. If you prefer, you may send

your modem in to our repair department for the installation of the new ROMs.

Please call our Sales or Technical Support numbers for a Return Merchandise

Authorization number prior to sending your modem in.



The following ROM description profiles our most current ROMs for the

SupraFAXModem V.32bis, 144LC, and 144PB. The ROM revision numbers and this

feature list will change periodically as new ROM revisions become available.





Attention MACINTOSH Users!



        If you are planning to order the VoiceMail Upgrade, you should

        understand that all the features included in the 1.8... series ROM

        will also be in the VoiceMail upgrade.  So, if you aren't planning to

        need any of the features added to your modem in the 1.8... series

        code, there is no need to order an upgrade now.  Also, there will NOT

        be a discount on the VoiceMail package, should you choose to order the

        1.8... series ROMs at this time.


        No VoiceMail Upgrade is available from us, it has been discontinued.



Attention INTERNATIONAL Users!



        There is a $15.00 additional handling fee on ROM shipments to countries

        other than the US and Canada.
