All necessary files are included with this update in order to complete the installation. For any problems or questions please refer to section 4.0, Reporting Problems. ******* 2.0 Installation Instructions ******* To install this driver update, run the self-extracting EXE program and follow its directions. The Setup program will overwrite your existing RexFx Windows 9x drivers. ******* 3.0 What's New ******* This product update includes a number of bug fixes and enhancements. Below are Enhancements and Fixes made since the 1.21.01 driver release. If you have a bug to report and it is not reported as fixed or known in this document then refer to section 4.0 for Reporting Problems. ******* 3.1 Enhancements ******* 1. Updated to the 1.25 drivers from NVidia. 2. Increased rendering performace. ******* 3.2 Fixes ******* 1. Minor bug fixes. 2. Fixed some problems with OpenGL applications. ******* 3.3 Known Problems ******* 1. Application Launcher does not hide correctly when between monitors in Multi-Monitor mode. 2. Non-DDC2 monitors will cause problems with RexFx. If you encounter problem when trying to load a RexFx transition please contact tech support for assistance. 3. You cannot load a background in a RexFx transition and use "Render with Trails" at the same time. The background will always over ride the Trails option. ******* 4.0 Reporting Problems ******* If you find that you are having problems with your RexFX that you cannot fix please follow the steps below: * Try to identify where the problem is. (e.g., Application, Installation, Hardware) * Try to identify what kind of problem you have. (e.g., System Hang, General Protection Fault, Resource Conflict) * Try to obtain any information related to the problem. * If it is a resource conflict, what is the conflict. (e.g., IRQ, I/O Address) * If there is a General Protection Fault what module did it occur in and at what address.
