          The WorldPort 9600 is a portable V.32 modem designed
          to meet the needs of portable and desktop users. The 
          WorldPort 9600 means error-free data transmissions with
          MNP 4 error control. MNP 5 data compression means faster 
          throughput, up to two times faster than a standard V.32.
          With throughput of up to 19,200 bps., this modem can pay
          for itself within months.

	  Users of the WordPort 9600 do not have to settle for toys.
          It has all the features of a desktop modem, while maintaining
          true portability. Powered by its own 9-volt battery, or an
          external power source, THE ADVANCED SURFACE MOUNT DESIGN 
          DRAWS NO POWER FROM YOUR COMPUTER WHICH WILL EXTEND THE 
          LAPTOP BATTERY LIFE.

            WorldPort 9600 MNP 5 will save the user money on phone 
            charges. The average line charge on a one hour data 
            transfer is approximately $18.60 for a 2400 modem, on a
            9600 bps modem the same data transmission would be $4.65,
            a significant savings. A file transfer of 500K would cost
            $1.09 for a 2400 modem, the same transmission with a 9600
            modem would cost $.27. Also it saves the user's time because 
            they spend less time waiting for a file t transfer.
