AS400 Setup
 
Below is a description on how to setup an AS400 at 9600 and 14400 baud 
or faster:

9600 Connections

Here is the information that we have regarding this setup: 

  SWAR CONNECT 9600
  ASPN COM1
  ASBR 19200
  ASMI AT&F&B1&H1&R2&S1&K1X4&N6&A0

This will allow strict 9600 baud connections between two v.32 types 
modems.

14,400 Plus Connections

You can use the same settings as above, except for changing the &N6 in 
the init string on the ASMI line to &N8. Also change the SWAR line to 
CONNECT 14400. We recommend setting the DIP switches to 4 and 8 DOWN(ON) 
for the host, and 4, 5, and 8 DOWN(ON) for the originating modem.
