DIP Switches: 3, 5, and 8 DOWN (ON)

CHANGE PORT:  Run SETUP.EXE located in your DOOM2 directory. Select Run 
              Network/Modem/Serial Game. Next select Modem and set the 
              modem port to match your modem settings.

Changing IRQ:  Only IRQ 3 and IRQ 4 seemed to work in this version. The 
               program automatically picks IRQ4 for COM1 and IRQ3 for 
               COM2.

INIT STRING:  To change the init string, load a text editor and open the 
              file MODEM.CFG, located in the DOOM ][ directory. Change 
              the first init string to `AT &F1', and the second init 
              string can be left alone. Set the port rate, which default 
              to 9600, to 19200 for our 14.4k modems, and 57600 for our 
              28.8k or faster modems.

TERMINAL MODE:  None.

Notes:  We have found some problems with DOOM ][ and modems that are 
        configured to COM3 and COM4. When you have a modem on COM3, 
        IRQ5, the software keeps defaulting back to IRQ4.
