CHANGE PORT: Select "Communication Parameters", and move to the "Serial Port" option. Change the port to match the port your modem is on. CHANGE IRQ: Select "PORT SETUP". From this screen you can change both the base port address and IRQ level for COM1 through COM8. INIT STRING: Select "MODEM COMMANDS". From this screen, change the init string to "AT&F&B1&H1&R2&A3&K3X4^M". TERMINAL MODE: Qmodem starts in Terminal Mode. Besides the above settings, there is one other screen of changes that needs to be made. Select the "TOGGLES" option, which is found under "MODEM". Make the following changes: XON/XOFF flow control OFF CTS/RTS flow control ON RTS when writing OFF FIFO during shell ON Lock DTE Baud Rate ON High Speed XMIT ON 16550 UART Enable ON Init ignores CD OFF Note: The "QINSTALL" program, has a "Quick Modem Config" option under "MODEM". A menubar will appear where you should pull down "CONFIG" and select "DEVICE". CHANGE PORT: Select the "Hardware" button or type "Alt-H" to enter hardware setup. The Port can be set by typing "Alt-O" or clicking on the correct COM Port number. CHANGE IRQ: Select the "Hardware" button or type "Alt-H". Next click on the "Config Ports" button or type "Alt-C" to enter the Port configuration dialog box. From this screen, you can set the base port address and IRQ levels for all COM ports. INIT STRING: There are two initialization strings which can be configured. One for terminal mode, and one for host mode. To set the Terminal Mode init string, click on "Term Cmds" or type "Alt-C".
