Telemate v4.12 for DOS:
DIP Switches: 3, 5, and 8 DOWN(ON)

CHANGE PORT:  Type "Alt-O", then select "Communications". Change the
              port setting to match that of your modem.

CHANGE IRQ:  Run "TMINST.EXE" in the TELEMATE directory. Next select
             "COMM PARAMETER", then "IRQ". Set the IRQ value to
             match that of your modem.

INIT STRING:  Type "Alt-O", then select "Communications". Change the
              init string to:  AT&F&B1&H1&R2&A3&K3X4.

TERMINAL MODE:  This program first starts out in the Dialing
                directory. Hit <ESC> after the dialing directory comes 
                up and you are now in terminal mode.
