Click the "Modem Setup" button, and then on "Modem Definition". Make sure the init string is setup to AT&FE1V1Q0X4B0&B1&H1&R2&N0&A3S11=55. The "Hardware Handshaking" checkbox should also be checked. TERMINAL MODE: Click on the "Direct Connect" icon in the phonebook. This will prompt you to input a telephone number. Click the "CANCEL" button, then pull down the "File" menu and select "Connect Special" from the options menu. Choose "Open port but do not dial phone number". You are now in terminal mode. Note: There are modem selections for all of our older modems with the exception of the Sportster 14,400. You can use the "USR Courier v.32bis" selection in its place. v.FC/v.34 and newer modems can use the Courier v.terbo selection with the port speed set to 38400.
