WordPerfect v5.1+/6.0 for DOS

Run SETUP.EXE for the WordPerfect CAS setup utility, in the
WordPerfect v5.1+/6.0 directory. Make the changes as shown below:


Hardware Driver Setup:
COM PORT:  Set to match the port your modem is on. For non-standard 
           IRQ's, select "USER", and input the appropriate address and 
           IRQ.

Dialing Option Setup:
DIAL METHOD:                       T or P for Tone or Pulse
Call Progress select:              Full Call Progress
MAX NUMBER OF REDIALS:             Set 3 attempts
TIME TO WAIT FOR DIAL TONE:        Set to 4 seconds
COMMA DELAY TIME:                  Set to 4 seconds
TOUCH TONE DURATION:               Set to 70 milliseconds
WAIT FOR CARRIER:                  Set to 60 seconds

Answer Option Setup:
ANSWER ON RING:                1 ring
FAX/DATA ANSWER ENABLE:        Set FAX only
CALLER ID ENABLE:              set No caller ID

Miscellaneous Setup:
HIGHEST FAX SPEED:         set Use Fastest
SPEAKER SETTING:           set Until connected
DISTINCTIVE RINGING:       set to NO

Any further settings can be configured to your personal needs.

Note:  FAXDIR.EXE and FAXB.EXE take up a total of 90k of RAM. Make
       sure that any other drivers in use are loaded into high memory 
       if possible.  These drivers must be loaded before running 
       WordPerfect v5.1+/6.0 and before attempting to fax.

Note:  There are no options in this program to send additional AT
       commands to the modem.  Usually you would do this in order to 
       enable flow control.  Because of this, we would recommend 
       enabling both type of flow control, in the modem.  Issue the 
       command AT&H3&R2&I2&W while in terminal mode, in any data
       communications program.
