X00 v1.24/1.50 FOSSIL Driver(and above) for DOS and Windows:

This driver is used by Bulletin Board Systems(BBS) which require
FOSSIL drivers to run correctly.   It can be downloaded off our BBS at
(847)982-5092 or FTP Site at ftp.usr.com.  Below is an example of an
X00 entry in your CONFIG.SYS:

In the CONFIG.SYS, place the following line:

devicehigh=c:\x00.sys E 1 B,0,19200 F=14 T=2048 R=2048

Explanation of above example:
     E         = Eliminate startup message
     1         = Allocate for one port(adjust as needed)
     B,0,19200 = Lock port 0(COM1) at 19200(adjust as needed - 1=COM2,
                 2=COM3, 3=COM4)
     F=14      = FIFO threshold set to 14 bytes before dumping(only for
                 internals or for those who
                          have 16550 UARTS on their serial card).
     T=2048, R=2048 = Transmit and Receive buffers set to 2k each.
