TRAINING SCOTT AND NEW HIRE Training and Assisting more junior Embedded Support Personel. Helping them grow and learn faster than they otherwise would so that they may become better support engineers. This includes covering concepts, talking about cases, training on new products and kits, and answering other related questions to company operations. Meets Expectations: spending on the average 4 hours/week with Embedded Support Personel Exceeds Expectations: spending on the average 6 hours/week with Embedded Support Personel DEVELOP 4 APPLICATION/DOCUMENTS Develop or write Applications and or Comprehensive Documents. Applications will be reasonably complex and can be in any language (Python, NETOS, WinCE, .NET) and will do something that customers will find useful. Comprehensive Documents will be intended to more than a simple KBase. They can be thought of as an involved Application Note. The purpose of this goal is to stimulate a better understanding of our Development Kits and to record the knowledge for passing it on. Meets Expectations: Develop 4 Applications/Documents. Examples of meeting this goal could be the following: writing 3 applications and 1 document writing 2 applications and 2 documents etc. Exceeds Expectations: Develop 8 Applications/Documents. 1 wifi help document 2 python network/zigbee communication app 3 ***winCE 6 app 4 ??? - Wireless API test sample - ???? Title: Performance Management for Employees Develop goals and metrics tied to business plan of department and company. Work with manager to add to, renegotiate and realign goals during the year as needed to respond to changes in the business. Solicit regular performance feedback from manager throughout the year. Meets Expectations: Goals finalized and entered into system by agreed upon due date. Have a verbal mid-year review and an annual written performance review. Exceeds Expectations: Work with others to define and finalize goals that have cross-functional and/or company-wide impact. Goals are clearly defined and have two sets of metrics that define results in both quantitative and qualitative terms. Proactively manage goals by initiating goal review with managers and maintaining detailed notes about performance that result in the manager having access to all relevant and necessary information during the annual performance review. Goal review and performance note updates happen on a frequent basis.
