See ADDITIONAL INFORMATION INTRODUCTION This is a beta release of firmware for the Digi One Realport/IA and PortServer TS 2/4. SUPPORTED PRODUCTS Digi One Realport Digi One IA PortServer TS 2 PortServer TS 4 ENHANCEMENTS The D1P release adds support for PPP, Ping/ARP, Force DCD option (auto connect 3-wire), User Data, and Advanced Discovery. The D1P release contains some latency enhancements in the Digi One IA device, and PortServer TS 2. The 82000679C1 release is located at ftp://ftp.digi.com/support/firmware/dg1rp-ts2/. This can be done from the OS with the command: boot load-post=:82000679C1.bin A reset is necessary to allow the new POST to run. boot action=reset Upgrade the EOS with the command: boot load=:82000716D1P.bin The unit should be reset after the EOS upgrade as well. --------------------------- Running and Interpreting Digi One Realport PortServer TS 2/4 POST (Corrects the Table of LED Activity and indication.) The Power-On/Status LED will flicker at a very fast rate while the Power- On-Self-Tests are run. This will take about 6 seconds from when the power is applied. Once the tests are completed, a three-digit status-code is flashed on the LED, then the LED is turned on and the device is operational.
