How to copy the Digi One Device Server and PortServer TS Configuration to a text file in Microsoft Windows  

Product Requirements:

1.   Open a web browser and enter the IP Address of the Digi One Device Server or PortServer TS in the
      Address field.
     
                                                        

2.   Login to the Digi One Device Server or PortServer TS.  The default user name is root.  The default password is dbps.
     
                                                                                      

3.   Under Admin, choose Copy Configuration/
     
                                                                                                                                                                                                        

4.    Unless you are running a TFTP server, select HTTP and choose Next>>.  

5.   To save a copy of the Digi One Device Server or PortServer TS's configuration, right-click on  Download current config.
      Choose Save Target As.
      NOTE: If you just want to look at the current configuration, choose the Display current configuration... button.
     

6.   Specify a location and a file name if the default (current_config.txt) is not easy to remeber.
     
       

7.   You will now be able to go to the location you saved the configuration file to and view it, edit it, or email it to Digi International Technical
      Support if requested by a technician.
