The latest driver can be downloaded at: http://supportold.digi.com/support/drivers/winnt/index-stsels.html
401899D1.exe: This is the Standard driver for the EtherLite product under Windows NT.

The latest firmware can be downloaded at: http://supportold.digi.com/support/firmware/els/index.html
Download the firmware for the specific EtherLite product you have.
NOTE: Make sure you download the firmware for the Standard driver and NOT RealPort .

  3. How do I assign an IP address to the EtherLite?
If you do not already have the Storeip32.exe utility, you can download it from the following link:
    http://supportold.digi.com/support/utilities/winnt/.  The Filename is Storeip32.exe.
After connecting the EtherLite to the network (if you need assistance with this go to: http://supportold.digi.com/support/manuals/combo/els-xxxx-hwin-90033900.pdf)
NOTE: Do not plug the power cable into the EtherLite module at this time.
    A.  Run Storeip32.exe and click Next.
    B.  Choose Store IP and click Next.
    C.  Enter the MAC Address (last 6 digits).  This will be on a bar code sticker located on the EtherLite.
          Click Next.
    D.  Enter the IP Address of the EtherLite and click Next.

    E.  Power-cycle the EtherLite and you should see the message on the output screen change.
    F.  Go to a command prompt and verify the IP Address has been assigned by pinging it.
NOTE: There are other ways to assign the IP address, which you can get instructions for at the following link:
    http://supportold.digi.com/support/manuals/combo/els-nt40-frameset.html

  4. How do I check the firmware version and upgrade it?
To upgrade the firmware, you will need the following utilities: Verlog.exe, BootPS.exe, and TFTPD.exe.
You can download these files at: http://supportold.digi.com/support/utilities/sts_els/.
    A.  Run Verlog.exe and enter the IP Address of the EtherLite to verify the firmware version you are currently
          running.
NOTE: You will need to make sure you are running the RealPort firmware, if you are loading the RealPort
          driver.
    B.  Download the proper firmware file and extract it in the same directory you have downloaded TFTPD.exe in.
    C.  Before upgrading the firmware, you will need to erase the IP Address.  You can do this, but following the
instructions in step 3, but select Erase IP rather than store.
    D.  Open BootPS.exe and go to File, Edit BootPS Response>
    E.  For the Ethernet Address, enter the EtherLites MAC address.
    F.  For the Target IP, enter the IP Address you want to assign to the EtherLite.
    G.  For the Host IP, enter the IP Address of the machine you are running TFTPD.exe and BootPS.exe from.
    H.  For the Bootfile, enter the filename of the firmware (i.e. 4200646A.bin).
    I.    Open TFTPD.exe
    J.   Power-cycle the EtherLite.
    K.  It should say Assigned IP: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx on the BootPS.exe screen.
    L.   It should say Transfer Complete! on the TFTPD.exe screen.
You can rerun Verlog.exe to verify the version of the firmware has now been updated.a
NOTE: You will also want to rerun StoreIP32.exe to permanently store the IP Address otherwise it will erase
after reboot because BootPS is temporary.

  5. How do I install the driver under Windows NT?
    Standard Driver:
    A.  Download the driver as instructed in question number 1 and extract it.
    B.  Run setup.exe, which is one of the extracted files.
