The Portserver TS 8 has been NEBS certified as a system component, and found to be fully compatible with GR63 and GR1089 CORE standards.

What this means:

A Digi customer recently included a Portserver TS 8 as part of their NEBS certification process. Typically, a system of products would include the racks, enclosures, power supply, and other networking components. Two of the most common NEBS tests are GR-63-CORE for Physical Protection (vibration, drop tests, and earthquake), and GR-1089-CORE for Electromagnetic Compatibility and Electrical Safety. The Portserver TS 8 successfully passed both of these tests as part of the larger system of products that they needed to have NEBS certified.

Our customers can use the Portserver TS 8 in their applications with full confidence, knowing that if they need to submit it as part of their NEBS certification, we have already been exposed to and passed these stringent Bellcore standards.
