I am unable to see the ports on the Xem or Modem em module attached to the PortServer II. I am unable to see the ports on the Xem or Modem em module attached to the PortServer II.

At the console prompt, type set auth. Make sure that you have multiple lower case "o" showing under RealPort. If you do not, type set auth realport=*. Type set auth again and verify that multiple lower case "o" are showing under RealPort. Reboot the PortServer II for this settting to take effect.
