Novell NetWare 4.10 Crashes with a HEX-Dump Novell NetWare 4.10 Crashes with a HEX-Dump
Problem:
The Novell NetWare 4.10 system crashes with a HEX-Dump. How
can one find out, which modules are involved?
Solution:
-
Enter
386DEBUG
in the HEX-Dump screen.
-
Now a new screen appears, in which you enter
?
followed by pressing [ENTER].
-
Now you see a list, in which the modules, which have
been executed last, are displayed.
-
Read out the sequence of the stacks by entering the
command
SW
Here you see further modules displayed, which point
to an application or a hardware.
-
If you now still need the process in which the
computer has crashed, press
V
Now you can switch through all the different screens
with the [Enter] key.
On the system console you can see the 'Running
Process'.
