How do you configure the ISA Classic board for more than one IRQ? How do you configure the ISA Classic board for more than one IRQ?

  • Run the Classic CFG utility from a clean DOS boot
  • Select F3 to Edit New Profile
  • Select "No" for PnP Mode
  • Select "Digi" for Control Register Int Mode
  • Select a unique value for the Control Register I/O
  • Select a unique IRQ for the Control Register IRQ
  • Select unique I/O addresses for each Port listed
  • Tab over to the IRQ field located next to the I/O Base setting for Port 1
  • Use the arrow keys to select a second unique IRQ
  • Select F5 to Write New Profile to Board
  • Select F6 to Write New Profile to Disk
  • Select and name the profile you created
  • Select F10 to Exit

    The IRQ selected in the field next to the I/O Base setting for Port 1 will be the IRQ assigned to the first port on the board. The Control Register IRQ will be the IRQ assigned to all other ports on the board.
