Does the Acceleport USB support MIDI devices?
Does the Acceleport USB support MIDI devices? Does the Acceleport USB support MIDI devices?

No. Our information is that MIDI support on the Mac is accomplished by setting the Mac's internal serial port to "externally clocked" mode. This is because (like our products) the internal Mac serial port does not support the standard MIDI baud rate of 31250 baud (actually, bits per second). Since our port does not support external clocking, we expect that no Mac compatible MIDI interface will work on our ports. There are no plans to change this, as USB compatible MIDI interfaces are already being designed (if not already available) as you read this.
