After a few minutes, using the 32bit Novell client for LAN connection under Windows 95, no Vcapi access is possible anymore.  The login on the Vcapi server does not exist anymore either.

Cause:

The reason for this is the connection watchdogging of the SPX protocol.

Solution:

Switch the watchdogging off. Do it the following way:

1. Go to the network control via CONTROL PANEL / NETWORK.
2. Now select the IPX 32BIT PROTOCOL and chose PROPERTIES there.
3. Under SPX you can set the switch ALLOW CONNECTION WATCHDOGGING to off.
