How do you connect an OSI PI to a serial device (i.e. PLC, etc.) using the Digi One Device Server?

Solution:

You would want to use the RealPort driver in this scenario and allow the serial device to be accessed via COM# as qualified by an OSI Engineer.

First follow the manual section on Configuring the Ports for RealPort:
