Error Using Connect From a Digi One or PortServer TS/II Product Error Using Connect From a Digi One or PortServer TS/II Product Symptom: When using the connect [connect #] command get message: unable to connect or connection refused.
Solution: Verify that the port you are trying to connect to has the device type set to 'prn' and that the autoconnect setting is off. This is done from the root prompt of the Digi One or PortServer product:
set port range=[port-number] dev=prn auto=off
Afterwards, issue a kill command for the port:
boot action=reset
Another possibility is the network parameters may not be correct. Please verify the unit's IP adress, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS information:
set config
These settings should be configured on a Digi One or PortServer product to be able to use connect option.
