I have a PC/Xe product with a bank of four dip switches to set the I/O address. In Windows NT, 2000 or 9.x, which adapter should I select during driver installation?
Symptom: I have an PC/Xe adapter with a bank of four dip switches to set the I/O address. What adapter should I select during driver installation?
Solutions:
Select the Acceleport Xe (8K) adapter when installing the driver. All customers with AccelePort Xe or PC/Xe adapters with 4 dip switches should select the AccelePort Xe (8k) adapter.
The PC/Xe adapter choice is used only for the original style 64K adapters (now obsolete) which have two banks of dip switches (one bank has eight switches and the other bank has eleven switches).
