Symptom:

The Event Viewer displays an error message:

"Wait confirmation failed"

Cause:

The settings of the dip switches on the ISA adapter do not match the IO Port address of the driver or there is an address conflict with another device.

Solutions:

Check the position of the dip switches on the adapter and match the settings with the IO Port address of the driver. Check for an IO Port address conflict with another device. A few systems may require that in your system's BIOS you reserve the IO Port address of the driver for Legacy ISA use.
