- Download the latest firmware version from our FTP Site onto an FTP server. BE SURE
to set the transfer mode to BINARY (bin).
- On the PortServer CM, change to the /proc/flash directory.
# cd /proc/flash
[enter]
- From this directory, ftp to your FTP server.
BE SURE to set the transfer mode to BINARY (bin).
ftp> bin [enter]
ftp> get zImage.xxx zImage [enter]
When completed, exit from ftp.
- Reboot the PortServer CM unit.
In the case which the unit still does not reboot properly (file corruption, power
failure, etc), follow the above steps again.
