Symptom:

When the PortServer TS 2/4 is at a remote site, how do you determine whether it is the PortServer TS 2/4 or PortServer TS 2/4 MEI model?

Cause:

The PortServer TS 2/4 comes in two versions.  One is 232 and the other is MEI on the first port.  It is important to know what model you have
before upgrading the firmware and/or contacting technical support.

Solution:

To determine which model you have, telnet into the PortServer 2/4 and type the following:

show version

Boot  82000764
    Post 82000751

    Running 82000747
