The peripheral attached to my Acceleport USB port is seeing a constant break condition or error condition.
The peripheral attached to my Acceleport USB port is seeing a constant break condition or error condition. The peripheral attached to my Acceleport USB port is seeing a constant break condition or error condition.

Symptom:

The peripheral attached to my Acceleport USB port is seeing a constant break condition or error condition.

Cause:

  • This problem should be limited to products designed prior to June 1999. It is a problem with the line drivers on the USB product. When the system goes into suspend mode, the line drivers go to a 3.3 volt level. This causes the peripheral to see a constant break condition When the USB port awakens, the peripheral does not see a start bit which may then cause an error condition with the peripheral.

    Solutions:

  • You may need to disable suspend mode on your system to avoid this problem. Try rebooting the system without the peripheral attached and then disabling suspend mode to resolve the problem.
