Portserver II's and frame vs. non-frame firmware FAQ Portserver II's and frame vs. non-frame firmware FAQ Q: How can I tell if my Portserver II has a frame or non-frame version of firmware loaded?
A: Login as root, then issue command "set ?". If "framerelay" is listed as one of the options, you have a Frame-supported firmware version loaded. If this option is not listed, your firmware does not support frame relay.

A: Whether or not a Portserver II can use the frame-relay versions of the 3.0.x, or 3.1.1 and later firmware is based on the version of the Portserver II hardware itself. 4 megs or more of installed RAM on the Portserver II is a requirment as well.
