FAQ: Switch settings for ISA C/X host adapter DigiBoard

 Switch settings for ISA C/X host adapter DigiBoard 

 DS1 switch sets I/O port address - Memory & IRQ are done with software. 
 Make sure you have latest driver to use these boards. Old drivers will
 not have support for these new boards.

 DS1 - Switches 1-4 on 4 position dipswitch 
 OFF: Switch flipped away from board  ON: Switch flipped toward board

 Jumper Settings for ISA C/X host adapter DigiBoard

 There are 5 jumpers on the ISA C/X host adapter. These jumpers should be
 left in the factory default position, between pins 1 and 2 (top 2 pins).

 System configuration for EISA C/X host adapter DigiBoard 

 1. Boot your EISA system with the EISA configuration diskette. These 
    steps only need to be done for EISA boards, ISA boards in an EISA
    system are configured as if it were a ISA system. There are no EISA
    .cfg files for any DigiBoard ISA board.

 2. Copy the file !DBI0102.cfg from the DigiBoard EISA .cfg file diskette. 
    This should have come with your board. If not, download from DigiBoard's
    BBS 612-943-0812, or call Customer Service to have it mailed to you
    612-943-0577.

 3. Run configuration program and addd the board.
    
    Pick non-conflicting memory address from menu.
    Leave Dual-Port Mem Enbl/Dsbl at Disabled.
    Leave Interrupt Configuration at Disabled.

    Exit and Save new configuration.


 Jumper Settings for EISA C/X host adapter DigiBoard

 There is only one jumper on the EISA C/X host adapter. This must be left
 in the factory set position, between pins 1 and 2 (top & middle pins).

 System configuration for MC C/X host adapter DigiBoard 

 1. Boot system from your copy of your IBM Reference Diskette.

 2. Select from menu "Copy an Option Diskette". Follow instruction to add
    DigiBoard ADF file to Reference Diskette.
 
 3. Select Set Configuration, Run Automatic Configuration. Save and reboot.


 Jumper Settings for MC C/X host adapter DigiBoard

 There is two jumpers on the MC C/X host adapter. Both must be left in the
 factory set positions,  J1 should be set between pins 2 and 3 (bottom two
 pins) and J2 should be set on pins 1 and 2 (top and middle pins).
