When I run dgclean.cmd or dgcbcln.cmd on my Windows 2000/XP system prior to installing the updated driver, I get the error "Access denied".
When I run dgclean.cmd or dgcbcln.cmd on my Windows 2000/XP system prior to installing the updated driver, I get the error "Access denied". When I run dgclean.cmd or dgcbcln.cmd on my Windows 2000/XP system prior to installing the updated driver, I get the error "Access denied".

This error is frequently encountered when the user installing the driver is not logged into the machine as the local administrator.

To properly install Digi hardware into a server, you must be logged in as local administrator, and you must be at the console. Installing remotely using Terminal Services or a monitoring application such as PC AnyWhere can cause driver corruption.
