Windows 2000/XP is detecting the device attached to my Digi serial port as a serial mouse. Windows 2000/XP is detecting the device attached to my Digi serial port as a serial mouse.

This is a known Microsoft issue. The fix involves upgrading your service pack to SP3 and a registry edit. There is more information on the Microsoft web site--reference Microsoft Knowledge Base Article 283063.
