Why won't my Digi driver install in a non-English language SCO server?
Why won't my Digi driver install in a non-English language SCO server? Why won't my Digi driver install in a non-English language SCO server?

There is a known problem installing drivers into SCO Openserver systems localized for non-English languages. When installing our Menu Port Interface (MPI) program, the error will appear similar to this:

Error: Init-Script for MenuPort Interface (MPI) Package failed (misc:mpi)
    Error-Stack: Init-Script ./tmp/init.mpi failed
or ./tmp/init.mpi : test: argument expected

SCO TA# 105455 on SCO's TA database describes the problem. Just enter in the TA number in the field entitled "Get a specific TA by number:".

More specifically, the article describes this install problem appearing on French/German-localized SCO Openserver systems. At this time, I am not sure whether the same problem would exist on a Hispanic-language server for instance, so I've written our Digi TA using the broader scope of "non-English language servers", in the event the possibility turns out to be true.
