Problem

How can a Controller be selected with the DOS ix1-connect/WS software?

Solution

The designated controller is selected by entering CONTROLLER = x in the main section of the file ixcon.par. In this case x stands for the number of the controller which is to handle the workstation. When using CAPI 1.1 the number of the first controller starts with 0, the second one being 1. CAPI 2.0 starts counting with 1 for the first controller, 2 for the second and so on.
