Columbus Client NT with non Digi ISDN cards

Problem

Using the Columbus Client under Windows NT V 3.40 or higher with non Digi ISDN cards following error message occurs:

Unknown Capi error

Reason

The ISDN card driver works in the File-I/O mode but not in the faster Internal Device I/O Control mode ( Capi Spezification 8.8 ).

Solution

Change the following entry in the Windows NT registry to make the Columbus Client work in the File-I/O mode.

HkeyLocalMachine--->Software--->Digi-->ixconfnt--->Settings--->EnableInternalIO

Please change here the value 00000002 to 00000001, respectively 00000000 to 00000001.
