The Columbus Fax Printer is not installed correctly
Problem
While starting Columbus Fax a message is displayed, saying,
that "the print driver is not installed correctly".
Reasons
- Before the installation of Columbus World no printer has
been installed in your system.
- You have installed Microsoft Fax.
Solution
- Because the Columbus fax driver is based on the universal fax
driver, it is necessary that BEFORE the installation of
Columbus World, a printer exists in your system. In case
that you do not have any printer in your system, install
the STANDARD/TEXT ONLY printer and after that repeat the
entire installation of the Columbus World software once
more.
- The Microsoft fax application should not be installed on
your system. Just in case it is installed, deinstall it
via CONTROL PANEL / SOFTWARE / WINDOWS-SETUP and after
that repeat again the entire installation of the Columbus
World software.
