Configuring a Line for Frame Relay

Use this procedure to configure a line for frame relay.

Procedure

1. To access the Digi configuration utility do the following:
   1. Choose Control Panel > Network > Adapters.
   2. Select the adapter from the Network Adapters list and then press Properties. The Digi configuration utility appears.
2. Use the Wizard to guide you through the setup process, which will produce a configuration that works for most sites. Use the online help for information on configuration fields.
3. Use the Digi configuration utility to inspect the configuration to ensure that it will work for you.
   • To access general frame relay and LMI properties, select the FrameRelay label in the left-hand pane and then press Properties.
   • To access virtual circuit (DLCI) properties, do the following:
     1. Press the plus sign (+) at the left of the FR label--if the DLCI label is not exposed beneath it.
     2. Select a virtual circuit (DLCI) and then choose Properties.
