Configuring Modem Nationality: RAS Adapters

Use this step to configure the modem nationality for a Digi RAS modem.

Note: This step uses the device /dev/DIGIras/b00p00m as an example. Substitute your device name where necessary.

If necessary, configure the modem nationality by using a ras_config command at a Solaris root prompt:

ras_config -N nationality

where nationality is the desired modem nationality. For detailed information on ras_config, enter the command without any options:

ras_config


  Note: The ras_config executable is in the
    directory /opt/DIGIras/bin. Add this path to the command if ras_config
