Device Names

Use the information on this page to determine which device to use for a particular Digi port.

During the driver installation, Digi devices are created in the /dev directory. The table below shows the device naming conventions for EtherLite and SCSI Terminal Server.

tty is constant.
## is the port number, assigned by smit.

Example: tty03 is the fourth port.
