If the SCSI Terminal Server does not operate properly after installation, review the list below for common installation problems.
Often the same SCSI ID number is assigned to two devices causing a hardware conflict. The SCSI ID number 7 is usually defaulted to the SCSI adapter card and the SCSI ID number 2 is often the default of a SCSI hard drive.
Note: The software driver installation displays SCSI devices running when the system is booted.
Check the cable to see that it is properly inserted and seated in the unit. SCSI cable pins are delicate and can be easily bent if not inserted carefully. It might be necessary to disconnect the cable to inspect for bent pins.
Inspect the power cable to verify it is seated completely and that the power is turned on.
