Master Setup Process

Use this process to install and configure the Microsoft Windows NT device driver for AccelePort asynchronous adapters.

1. Install the adapter. See the appropriate hardware installation card for more information. 

   Note: When you install multiple PCI adapters of the same type on a Windows system, it is sometimes difficult to determine which adapter you are configuring. To avoid confusion, you may wish to install and configure the adapters one at a time.

2. If Microsoft Networking has not been previously installed (for example, as part of a LAN card installation, or a previous AccelePort or DataFire installation), you must install the MS-Loopback adapter. See Installing the MS Loopback Adapter.
3. Install the Windows NT driver. See: Installing the Driver: CD, or Installing the Driver: Downloaded.
4. Follow the prompts in the Configuration Wizard to configure the driver.
