Use this procedure to help you configure adapter-level attributes for the SYNC/570.
Note: The SYNC/570 configuration assumes a four-port adapter. If you are using a two-port adapter, do not attempt to configure the last two ports. Configuring non-existent ports could cause problems.
From the Internetworking Configuration menu, choose Boards.
Choose Ins and then choose the SYNC/570 driver from the list of installed drivers.
Configure the adapter on the Board Configuration screen. Here are some tips:
In the PCI Board field, specify 0 for ISA adapters and a number between 1 and 7 for PCI adapters. If you configure more than one adapter, each adapter should have its own number and numbers should be assigned sequentially.
Specify an I/O Base Address that matches the address you configured on the adapter.
