Uninstalling the Driver
Use this procedure to uninstall a device driver and the MenuPort Interface
(MPI) package.
Procedure
- Use MPI to uninstall the device driver:
- Log on to the system console as root.
- Run MPI by entering
mpi at the system console.
- Choose Config > Remove.
- From the pick list, choose the driver you wish to remove. Repeat this
step for all installed drivers.
- Use pkgrm to remove MPI:
- Log on to the system console as root.
- Enter the following command:
pkgrm -n mpi
- When the new kernel has been built, shut down and restart the system
to activate the new kernel.
