Master Setup Process

Use this process to install and configure the Microsoft Windows 95/98/Me device driver for Digi Neo and ClassicBoard PCI adapters.

1. If you are upgrading the driver for a previously installed Digi Neo or ClassicBoard adapter, see Upgrading the Driver.
2. If you are installing a new adapter, see the appropriate Hardware Installation Guide for more information.

   Note: When you install multiple PCI adapters of the same type on a Windows system, it is sometimes difficult to determine which adapter you are configuring. To avoid confusion, you may wish to install and configure the adapters one at a time.

3. If you are installing the driver for the first time. See Installing the Driver.
4. The adapter is configured automatically. You should not have to change it. If you do need to, see Changing the Configuration.
5. If you want to install the Digi Port Authority for Windows application to monitor serial port activity on your system, see Installing DPA for Windows.
