Master Setup Process

Use this setup process to install and configure the Microsoft Windows NT device driver for Digi Neo or ClassicBoard PCI adapters.

1. Install the adapter. See the Hardware Installation Guide for more information.

   Note: When you install multiple PCI adapters of the same type on a Windows system, it is sometimes difficult to determine which adapter you are configuring. To avoid confusion, you may wish to install and configure the adapters one at a time.

2. Install the Windows NT 4.0 driver. See Installing the Driver: Downloaded or Installing the Driver: CD.
3. The configuration is done automatically. You should not have to change it. If you do need to, see Changing the Configuration.
4. If you want to install the Digi Port Authority for Windows application to monitor serial port activity on your system, see Installing DPA for Windows.
